Whole Lotta DVD
Well, today we went shopping for Debbie's birthday present, a new wedding ring. It was worth every penny to see the look of delight when she found one she liked and could finally replace the Argos special she had originally. Also, as I was in a rockin' mood from the other day's post I found a Led Zeppelin DVD with 5 hours of live footage. This was 39.99 in Virgin, but I found it in HMV for 19.99 ?!?!?!?, no brainer, snapped it up along with an Albert King CD. So there went my birthday vouchers for last week. Both Debbie and I are happy chickens. I also spent a large portion of the day planning my luggage, as I'll be taking a guitar (Blade Delta) to Bournemouth. I need to play every day to keep my chops up so I thought I'd use the time to work on some of the hard (technical) stuff that I keep putting off. Ryanair is notorious for overcharging on excess baggage, so I've got to fit guitar in Hiscox case, Korg AX1500g modelling unit, clothes, toiletries, book, etc.into 15kg. In the USA, the FAA supplied a standard letter for musicians which requested all airlines to allow guitars etc of a reasonable size on board the cabin. Monday afternoon I'll have to leave my number 1 with some dodgy looking dispatcher in a yellow vest at the foot of the steps on the tarmac at Prestwick praying that it makes it. I just hope that Hiscox cases live up to their rep!

All I can say is WOW Graeme Campbell. The other half and I just got back from our friends house (well her friends house) and I needed a huge break. I am working on a project right now that is based on acoustic electric guitars. I have literally been on-line for 2-3 hours doing research. Even though Whole Lotta DVD really isn’t on the same page as acoustic electric guitars I am certainly glad I came across your blog. There are a ton of great view points on this blog. Well I think I can here the kids screaming in the background. I put you in my internet favorites and I will certainly come back and visit. I love your blog Graeme Campbell. How long has it been on-line? Reason I ask is I am doing a ton of work in the area of beginner guitars and will probably end up starting a blog of my own. Funny how the internet brought me here when I was doing searches on beginner guitars. Oh well, I am glad it did. Keep up the great blogging and I am sure I will visit Whole Lotta DVD again!!

Well I just got back from the gym and I am beat. I am currently doing some research on alvarez guitars and stumbled across your blog. Which cracks me up really. The internet can certainly land you off base sometimes. Even though Whole Lotta DVD is not completely related I think it is a cool blog. I have read back through the archives and lots of people make some very good points. Well I have been on-line forever it seems. I need to continue to plug away at alvarez guitars. If you have the energy swing by alvarez guitars. I try to update my site weekly and maybe you will see something you like. I already snagged your URL and put it in my favorites.
